About the role
In this role, you will contribute to create the best insurance solutions, handle both complex and interesting risks to benefit our customers.
Your tasks will include:
Assess customers exposures, calculate premiums, design insurance programs
Underwriting of both domestic and international property insurance programs
Negotiate with brokers and clients including participating in meetings locally and abroad
Maintain and develop the existing clients and support the further development of the portfolio
Participate in the development of products and terms & conditions
About the team
The Danish Property Underwriting team currently consists of five highly experienced underwriters. The Danish property team form part of our Nordic Property Underwriting team consisting of approx. 40 underwriters. We continuously strive to share experience and learn from each other cross Nordic, to make sure we are aligned and stay ahead.
Within If Industrial we work in cross functional client teams to service our clients in the best way possible, and as our new property underwriter you will participate with your knowledge. You will collaborate with both our internal colleagues in Denmark as well as our colleagues across the Nordics.
Who are you?
You have experience from working with Industrial property insurance and/or CAR EAR from previous employments. You are eager to learn and have an interest of working in a multinational environment. You can create and maintain strong relations internally as well as externally and are good at working both in teams and independently. You have a positive and flexible attitude and a strong interest in working with and developing tailor made solutions fitting our customer’s dynamic needs.
You also have:
Analytical skills and the ability to work in a structured way
Strong English skills at negotiation level – speak and write fluently
Relevant academic qualifications from university level or equivalen
