What you will be doing

 

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Business Analyst to join our Global Service Support and Spares team. This role is essential for leveraging data to improve decision-making and operational efficiency, particularly focusing on after-sales service performance. Reporting to the General Manager of Service Support & Spares, the Business Analyst will be instrumental in creating dashboards, analysing performance data, and providing data-driven insights to support the team globally. 

 

As Business Analyst your work will focus on these key responsibilities:

 

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyse, and interpret after-sales performance data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. 
  • Dashboard Development: Design and develop comprehensive dashboards that provide clear visualizations of complex data sets to assist in decision-making processes. 
  • Decision Support: Provide analytical support to enhance decision-making across the service and spare parts divisions, ensuring data accuracy and relevance. 
  • Collaboration and Support: Work closely with global teams to make data accessible and understandable, facilitating a data-driven culture within the organization. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Continually assess and refine data collection and analysis processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and utility. 
  • Training and Development: Assist in training team members on utilizing dashboards and interpreting data, enhancing their capability to use data effectively in daily operations. 

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or related field. 
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role with a strong focus on performance data analysis, preferably in the maritime, automation, or navigation industries. 
  • Advanced proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau) and experience in dashboard development. 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with global teams. 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
