Key responsibilities

You will be one of our mechanical experts in a smaller team of dedicated colleagues. You will work closely with the R&D and Quality departments, where you report directly to the Head of Design & Maintenance.

You will be responsible for a selected number of mechanical components on the Star Cool refrigeration machine.

Furthermore, your area of responsibility will involve,
- the technical communication with a selected number of suppliers (mechanical components)
- investigation and troubleshooting of issues from the field, based on inputs from customers and our quality department
- specify corrections to existing components, e.g. improve performance and/or cost savings
- documentation of CE marking

We are looking for

You may have a background as a Marine Engineer or a related field, ideally with at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant area. Alternatively, you may have an education as an Electrician and then advanced to an engineering role. In addition, you bring hands-on experience with mechanics, electrical engineering, compressors, motors, valves, and material knowledge.

Additionally, we expect you to have skills within:
- refrigeration technology is preferred, but not mandatory
- electrical knowledge is considered an advantage
- systematic approach of analysis and investigation to problem solving
- project Management
- technical communications towards internal teams and suppliers

On a personal level, you are structured and detail oriented. Furthermore, you have a good sense of urgency. You carefully follow-up on a given task and provide accurate results. You have strong problem-solving skills and can make decisions and define problem statements. You are fluent in English, orally and written. Danish is considered an advantage but is not mandatory.

MCI is located at its headquarter in Tinglev, where this position is based.
