We are looking for a leader to lead a team of software developers in Technology that is delivering solutions for managing the Nordea Liquidity & ALM solutions.  The team is primarily based in Poland.

We welcome you to Service Domain Liquidity, Asset and Liability Management – a part of the Service Area Group Finance.  We provide value to the bank by providing a great technology team to develop and operate business applications for L&ALM core processes:

  • Liquidity Risk management
  • Intraday Liquidity Risk monitoring
  • Non-Traded market risk
  • Funding and Funds Transfer Pricing
  • Hedge accounting
  • Behavioural Models

 

This team work with technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, micro-services, Apache Kafka, stream processing, Kubernetes. 

What you will be doing:    
As the leader for this team you will lead a team Software Developers have the following responsibilities:

  • Line and people management of a team of technology professionals 
  • Direct contribution to Service Domain delivery  - via senior role in execution teams and in SD leadership team including securing both current and future success of our Service Domain deliveries
  • Plan and lead efficiency and effectiveness improvements for Software Development capability


The role is based in from one of our locations in Poland – Warsaw, Gdansk, Lodz, Stockholm or Helsinki.

  • Experience from software development in the technologies we work with
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills 
  • Strong understanding of IT processes and Software Development Life Cycle
