Are you interested in learning how a global company works strategically with Sustainability? Do you want to gain experience within the field and are you ready to take responsibility as part of an international team? 

 

We offer the opportunity to join DSV Group Sustainability as student assistant. We are an international team, but your position is based in our global HQ in Hedehusene, west of Copenhagen. 

 

Group Sustainability is responsible for coordinating and driving DSV’s Sustainability Strategy and reporting. The team has a very varied task portfolio, which include subject matter responsibility for DSV global partnerships, business ethic and code of conduct and Human Rights. 

 

We are looking for a student who can take responsibility for assisting us in carrying out our responsibilities and who is ready for independently driving certain lighter tasks in the team. 

 

Tasks

  • Assist in creating slide decks for internal and external communication
  • Assist in reviewing stories submitted to DSV Sustainability impact platform
  • Assist in managing the shared team inbox by replying to general team mails, external requests etc.
  • Assist in reviewing applications for support to local associations in Denmark
  • Conduct light research, monitor ESG trends and regulation
  • Support other task management and larger projects in close cooperation with project managers in the team. 

 

Your profile

  • You are currently undertaking a relevant long-term education program and have completed the initial semesters of your studies
  • You have an interest in and understanding of general sustainability trends, particularly regarding large companies' responsibilities within E, S and/or G. 
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • You communicate effectively in both Danish and English, both orally and in writing
  • You are responsible and capable of meeting deadlines 
  • You thrive in a multitasking environment.
  • You are positive and contribute to good teamwork.

The position is approximately 15 hours per week, divided into two full (preferably uninterrupted) workdays per week, with flexibility during exam periods and project writing.
