Procurement Manager

About your role  

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team and be a part of our sourcing efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies that drive cost savings, improve supplier performance, and ensure the timely delivery of goods and services.

You will also develop procurement strategies and processes that are efficient and effective. You need to be able to use your structured approach to work and pay attention to detail to create, improve and implement processes that will help the company achieve its goals.

Here are some examples of key responsibilities during a typical day: 

• Source and establish supplier relations.
• Negotiations and signing of contracts with suppliers within construction of fiber network and infrastructure.  
• Be a part of the Nordic procurement department with team members in all countries.
• Develop procurement strategies and processes and ensure these comply with procurement policies and procedures.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:   

• Minimum 5 years of experience with driving procurement processes from initiation to closure as well as maintaining a strong relationship with these focused on price and quality.

• Experience working with contractors, ideally within telecom, energy, or construction sector but this is not a must.
• Ability and confidence in managing multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize your work effectively.
• Fluent in a Scandinavian language.
