Our lean and dynamic strategy and transactions team is responsible for driving and structuring bankable renewable projects that provide risk adjusted returns within Rein’s target range.
Your key tasks will be to:
- Develop and apply comprehensive financial models for projects in different stages of maturity, including relevant sensitivities and scenario analysis.
- Take overall responsibility for business cases and ongoing follow-up of project profitability, cash flow forecasts and liquidity requirements.
- Coordinate with technical, commercial, tax, accounting and other workstreams to ensure robust assumptions and appropriate capturing in valuation.
- Support on screening and analysis of new investment opportunities.
- Participate and assist on potential M&A, divestment, or project financing processes.
- Prepare decision making material for key stakeholders.
- Other financial and strategy related tasks, such as internal management reporting, project benchmarking, analysis of market, resources and levelized cost of energy (LCOE).

Qualifications
- We are looking for candidates with a background from corporate finance/M&A, banking, management consulting, private equity or similar relevant roles in the energy industry.
- You have 2-5 years’ work experience.
- You have an interest in the energy industry dynamics, e.g. project development, project finance, transmission networks, power purchase and sourcing, renewable power technology, power markets, etc.
- You have strong quantitative skills, an analytical mindset and experience in building business cases and financial models.
- You combine an entrepreneurial spirit and "can do" attitude with excellent academic records, e.g. in business, finance or engineering.
- Experience in renewable energy and/or project finance is an advantage.
- Very strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communicator, both written and verbal English.

You will report to our Head of Investments and Analysis. The position is in Oslo, Norway.
