Welcome to global Commercial Controlling – a key strategic component

At our HQ in Hedehusene, you will become part of Group Finance and join our global Commercial Controlling team. Together, we make up a small unit with close contact to our commercial organisation which we support with high-quality customer reports and sales KPIs built on a sound data foundation.

We maintain and develop reports on our largest customers by analysing data and monitoring customer hierarchies together with stakeholders across the organisation. Our reports are essential tools for our top management to get valuable insight into our customers and to be able to make strategic, important decisions.

Leave your mark on commercial controlling

Stepping into a small team with high impact working closely with Group Management, you will get ample opportunity to shape your job and influence your tasks. Your main objective will be to prepare monthly reports, improve our deliveries and analyse customer data, providing high-quality service to our commercial stakeholders and top management. 

Doing so, some of your key tasks will be to:

• Prepare and deliver monthly customer reports to divisional and group management in Power BI
• Analyse customer data and provide timely, accurate, and insightful information
• Drive process improvement initiatives to continuously improve the quality and value of our deliveries
• Develop Power BI reports to ensure focus on the KPIs and easily keep an overview 
• Monitor master data, take ownership of master data definitions and commercial customer hierarchies

“This might sound like a day of recurring tasks – but really, no days are alike here. Besides our known tasks and deadlines, we assist various stakeholders with ad-hoc requests, supporting numerous initiatives of greatly different shapes and sizes as they unfold,” Lene continues. 

A dedicated and analytical mindset and sound business acumen

To match this position, it is important that you can work independently and in-depth with your tasks, but you are also a team player who likes to engage with colleagues from various commercial and financial departments. Furthermore, you are the kind of person who never leaves a coworker behind and knows that we perform better as a unit. 

Moreover, you:

• Bring a bachelor’s degree or higher within finance
• Have a few years of experience from a similar function – maybe as a consultant, business controller, financial controller or similar
• Bring strong competencies in Excel
• Might have knowledge of Power BI or other BI solutions, but it is not a must
• Speak and write English effortlessly, as English is our corporate language
