Be the data Subject Matter Expert on everything related to LEGO digital gaming experiences both internally created and externally through creators.
Support our data pipeline throughour structured data platform and deliver analytics to improve player experience through the same data.
Support partners understanding of the space, lead performance insights through mainly quantitative data and prepare presentations and storylines for wider business.
Simulate new business models and future opportunities within the space with senior partners and peers. Models will feed into weirder both strategic and finance discussions.
Support the LEGO digital gaming experiences performance agenda into our standard monthly digital gaming forecast process.
Examinate risk and opportunities in the industry and translate that into LEGO GAME opportunities for internal development teams.

The Analytics and Insights area is a well-established functional area across the organization, and you will get a lot of potential sparring partners. However, within digital gaming and experiences it is a newly established role and team. The LEGO Group and Epic games have just launched a new LEGO Island platform for creators to explore. The future of this space looks promising, and we need someone to come in and help internal partners explore the current experiences, templates and analyze successes and risks, and through data and fact help show potential opportunity areas for the future that can benefit our creators of all ages.
The new role will support and help guide the LEGO Islands organization in LEGO GAME and have partners from development and tech teams to commercial and marketing colleagues. The foundation of the work will be the newly established LEGO GAME data ecosystem and the supporting frontend tools like Power BI & Data Bricks (SQL). But you should also expect simulation work to be done in Excel. The role will both have to handle overall performance management critical metrics to help guide senior customers, alongside deep dives into new and unexplored data sets all to be used in dialogues with Dev., Tech and Commercial teams and simulation development of future business models.
The role will be part of a bigger newly established operation team;however it will be encouraged that the person can drive the initiative on their own and both start and stop initiatives with a well balanced view of our overall data strategy and what brings most value to our partners.
Do you have what it takes?
Educational Background: While no degree is required, preference is given to candidates with working or educational experience in Gaming, Statistics, Business, Data Engineering, or related fields.
Data Analysis Skills: 2+ years’ experience in working with data systems and modeling, with a track record of influencing decisions through fact-based analytics and insights.
Data Visualization Proficiency: Fluency in data visualization software such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools is essential for effectively communicating insights.
Advanced SQL Skills: Demonstratedproficiency in SQL (Hive, Impala, Data Bricks) or similar platforms for analyzing large structured and unstructured datasets.
Project Management Expertise: Experience in project management and partner engagement, driving collaborative initiatives forward.
Positive Attitude and Learning Agility: A positive can-do attitude, a willingness to learn independently, and adaptability to evolving roles and challenges.
Learning Agility: High level of learning agility, with the ability to quickly pick up new skills and collaborate effectively with new partners to deliver results.
Relationship Building: Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and partners to foster collaboration and achieve shared goals.
Language Skills: Fluent English skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective communication in a global environment.
Understanding of Gaming Sector: Ideally, candidates will have a good understanding of the global gaming sector from personal or professional experience.
Please note: This is a permanent position based in Billund, Denmark. Our flexible working model allows employees to work 2 days/week from home (3 days in the office). Relocation support is not offered for this role.
