This role will bring to life our commitment to be a global force for learning through play, by ensuring that LEGO Education solutions are developed to impact children’s engagement and learning outcomes through high-quality hands-on, playful materials.
Core Responsibilities
Design and oversee the implementation of learning outcomes, product testing protocols, ensuring adherence to research standards and alignment with educational goals within STEAM products.
Collaborate with product owners to define research objectives, outcomes, and procedures to inform product development, ongoing iterations with markets, impact studies and improvements.
Lead and mentor a team of researchers, efficacy specialists, and learning partners, setting clear goals, supporting competencies, ensuring feedback and facilitating professional growth and development.
Develop and maintain a robust efficacy strategy and tools that includes both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, and ensure ongoing feedback data and feedback loop with markets
Commission and manage partnerships with external research organizations for comprehensive studies, including control group testing to measure the impact of products on students' academic skills and cognitive abilities.
Conduct pilot tests, gather insights, and analyze data to inform product decisions and enhance learning outcomes.
Ensure research findings are translated into actionable recommendations for product development teams, marketing materials, advocacy and influence.
Promote a culture of evidence-based practice and continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle.

The Educational Impact team ensures that the LEGO Education products are designed as high-quality playful learning experiences, which equips educators and parents to support children development and learning in the key markets of LEGO Education. The Educational Impact team has the following three areas:
Develop engaging, standards-aligned and high-quality content that integrate hands-on products.
Improve and evaluate the effectiveness of education solution in enhancing learning outcomes, engagement, and transversal skills.
Innovate educational products and activities based on the science of children’s learning through play.
Do you have what it takes?
You are curious about how to improve the educational experience in the classroom and brave to suggest new solutions that will make learning more engaging and enjoyable. The ideal candidate brings an educational background, Master or PhD degree within psychometrics, assessment, educational technology, or a related field and demonstrates a strong understanding and experience of educational standards, metrics and research, with a focus on product efficacy in the edtech space, preferably within STEAM education and product development. In addition, you have:
In-depth knowledge of educational standards in US and metrics for assessing cognitive skills such as creativity, problem-solving, critical thinking, and motivation.
Worked in corporate settings to navigate market insights and customer expectations to guide product development, market testing and efficacy.
Demonstrated expertise in conducting large-scale research studies, data analysis, and working iteratively with product development and content production.
As a person, you are an experienced People Leader, who communicates well and thrive in a dynamic and complex internal and external partner environment.
